The house was right on the harbour so the views were very pretty and having the whole house was a bonus, in fact too much room for us as a couple ! Two double rooms, the larger one was very big !
Communication with the owner was excellent and entry via a key boy was easy.
The house is general was clean and the bed comfy. First time I’ve been in a rental with 4 TVs, virtually one in every room just about.
The price paid made is very good value for money.

The house was very fine, delightfully quirky and full of character reflecting its long family associations and interests. My hosts were charming to the extent I felt very much at home. I left with reluctance!

I have been to Wick many times because there is plenty to see and do.
This time we headed to John o Groats to the Puffin Croft Petting Farm which was such a joy.The lady who owns the farm is there to greet you and tell you about the goats, the sheep, the pigs, the donkeys, the rabbits and the Shetland pony - hope I haven't missed one!
One place you must look for is the shortest street in the world which is in Wick.

Wick itself is a pretty but windswept and deeply depressed town. There is not a great deal to do in March - the walk to the castle was nice although I was almost blown off my feet. I had half a day there which was more than enough time to do everything that was open in the town. I plan to go back and explore the surrounding area over a couple of days,

Wick is an interesting old town in an interesting part of Scotland. There are many archaeological sites around worth seeing. The town has lovely places to eat, a super museum and places to walk or even swim in open water.

Wick itself looked rather shabby in places (probably looks better at high tide) and was very quiet when we were there. It is a good stop-off when moving up the coast between Inverness and John O'Groats with an interesting castle on the coast just north and other archeological sites close by. It has a good Tesco with reasonably priced fuel and we found a good pizza take-away in the town centre.
The accommodation was good and as expected, but located in a deserted part of the town just back from the harbour. Ours was the only car parked on the road overnight but the area seemed very safe.
Fantastic location! Lydia directed us to Castle of old Wick which was beautiful and a great morning walk!
The room was very comfortable, great en suite, everything was clean and neatly placed.
Nice varied breakfast menu with great local touches. Delicious breakfasts with generous portions!
Both Lydia and Graeme were very warm, welcoming and helpful (even with poor Graeme’s newly broken hand!)
Very helpful welcome pack too which was a nice touch!
We’ll definitely be back and recommending friends!
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was spotless. Having access to the kitchen facilities was very nice. The bed was comfy, but if you're 6+ feet it may be a bit small lengthwise, other than that, this was a great stay within walking distance to pretty much everywhere in Wick and was a great value. Robert was amazing and was able to accommodate us after we had some flight issues. Would highly recommend.
The room was so big and lovely with a great bathroom, it was such a treat! Rain head shower and a large bath tub were just what we needed after travelling for so long. Netflix on the tv was also appreciated. Comfortable bed and a quiet location. The owner was a great guy, super friendly and called the Norseman pub to make a reservation for us. The cooked breakfast in the morning was the best we had in Scotland!
After a couple of days of camping along the NC500 with my friends, a well needed break from the outdoors was welcomed. We booked Caithness Luxury Apartment in Wick and it was perfect! It felt like home away from home. Our host Sam was available and responsive to any questions we had. Definitely highly recommended when in the area and I would stay here again!
Fantastic location right in the middle of Wick. The property was easy to find and we were easily parked close by. The property was spacious and we enjoyed having the amenities of a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment during our stay in Wick. We loved having the balcony to spend our summer evenings after returning from a day of exploring.
2 bedroom apartment with sofa bed in the living room - ideal for a family with 3 kids! Well equipped kitchen down stairs and more than one tv so again ideal for the kids in the evenings. Good location in wick and great for trips to the many hidden gems up and down the Caithness coastline
Great value for money, free car park behind hotel, room was fairly small and quirky but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. breakfast was pretty good and the owner was friendly. If I stay in Wick again I'd have no hesitation in booking here again.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. However be warned there is not much to see and do in Wick especially on a Monday as everything seems to shut at 4 or not open at all.
Very unique, beautiful setting with sheep all around, comfortable bed, great kitchen area, bathroom and other amenities, host was very helpful - great communication and service. Close to Wick and John O Groats.
Comfortable room with view of river, well equipped, clean & window could be opened. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel handy for centre of town, couple of minutes' walk to train station.
everything you needed was there 2 minutes to town very nice owner we stayed in 9 hotels around Scotland but this place was far the best stay would return any time great value for money
Friendly stay in an old-school hotel in central Wick. Rest of downtown easily accessible on foot. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. En-suite appeared recently renovated.
