A picture postcard setting and easily accessible on public transport from Craignure ferry terminal via West Coast Motors bus service (Route 95). Be aware though that the village can be very busy with visitors so if you want to dine out of an evening it's wise to book a table in advance at any of its restaurants. You wont be disappointed by the vittals!

Our stay on the Isle of Mull was made special by having the opportunity to book an entire apartment which was located in the famous colored houses of Tobermory. It was a two level apartment with bedroom and bath downstairs the kitchen and living room were upstairs. It was self-catered; but, the full kitchen with washing machine made it feel like home. We had no problem parking on the street which was at no cost. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering it was in the largest city on the Isle of Mull. The local store was close for supplies, there was several places to eat within easy walking distance and it was a good central location to see all of the Isle of Mull from. The stay was across the street from the town pier and clock tower. There shops along the main road to visit and buy souvenirs. A deposit is required. The cost is higher than some in the area; but, it would be considered to be an extravagant place to stay.

Attractive quiet town with a very pretty and clean sea front, the subject of many photographs. There is a lovely footpath from the seafront to the lighthouse, with wild garlic and bluebells on either side. Café Fish delicious but pricey. Do book in advance as it gets very booked up. The museum and shops are quite interesting but we felt we didn't want to spend longer than a night there. We loved the quietness, changing light, clear sea and very pleasant local people. If you stay on the ridge above the main street it is a steep hill to get back to your accommodation, so beware!

I was there for work so only for one night, but I will go back for a short break. The area is colourful and again I was lucky with the weather, the sun was shining and there were paddle boarders out in the water and kids on the small beach. The people are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The local produce is fantastic so make sure you try some of the smaller cafes and stores for bread, pastries etc. There is quite a few restaurants so again try them.

As it was out of season, it was delightful, wouldn't want to go during high season, roads are very narrow, although there are plenty of passing places, which some visitors seem to ignore. Lovely island with amazing wildlife, worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel perched on top of a wee hill in Tobermory. Being up so high gave lovely views over the harbour and across the water. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The room was great, lovely size and great views. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower with toastie warm water. (Always a relief) We ate dinner in the restaurant. The food was lovely and a great selection for a gluten free diet. Breakfast 10/10. Would certainly return.

Perfect location right on the harbour-front terrace in Tobermory, in a fine old Victorian building. Excellent food including good local seafood (I had a three-course dinner at the hotel, which was really a very good meal indeed, although not particularly cheap). Also a good breakfast, which was good value for money. The room was nicely decorated with a subtle "sea cabin" theme. Good hot electric shower, which was much appreciated after hillwalking.

Arle Lodge was a great stay for our visit of the Isle of Mull. Its central location between Tobermory and Salen shortened distances to the main spots on the island. Its facilities are simple and functional. Everything being clean this was perfect for us. Also regarding the relatively very low costs, it was very good. The shared living room is a great space to hang out and meet other visitors.

We only stayed one night as a stopover before catching the ferry, but it was a great place to stay for the night. The hotel seems like it was recently renovated; the carpets, room and bathroom all seemed pretty new - very clean and in excellent condition. Loved the heated towel rack in the bathroom! The hotel restaurant was also very clean, food was good, and the table service was good.

A newly opened guest house, and what a brilliant place. John and Robert were really welcoming and the house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Loads of advice on what to do on Mull and where to eat in Tobermory. We had a beautiful room with great sea views and the breakfast was excellent too. We were sad to leave however we had a really memorable time here.

Lynn’s flat was absolutely lovely - it was the perfect base for enjoying Tobermory and the beautiful Isle of Mull. The flat was immaculately clean and incredibly cosy, perfect for us and our two young boys. We had a really great stay there, and Lynn was the absolute perfect host - extremely friendly, kind, and informative. We look forward to going back.

This was our best stay during our trip to Scotland. It is a beautiful and comfortable appartment with a great view of the tobermory harbour. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything you could need and the host provides you with some little goodies like milk and wine to welcome you.

The hotel was located near the Tobermory Harbour but it is easier to drive becaise the road is steep and narrow. There is a restaurant on site with reasonably priced food of reasonable quality. There was also live emtertainmemt on the night we were there which was a pleasant extra.

Great stop over in Tobermory after a days walking on Mull. Great kitchen facilities and large light filled dining kitchen room with views of the harbour. Co-op a few door down meant feeding the family was easy. Rooms cool in the evening despite being at the top of the building.

Lovely hotel, great location and on-street parking opposite was easy to secure. Room was small but clean, bed comfy. Excellent restaurant but somewhat expensive. Menu was not changed during our 2-day stay, not an issue for us but would be if staying a week.

The breakfast was amazing, John carefully sourced out the very best of local farm fare. The B&B was within an easy walk of all the town had to offer. The room and en-suite were like being at home but better because we were on an island in Scotland.
