It was a lovely historic manor with great AC, very nice staff, good restaurant, beautiful grounds & fairly modern facilities. Our room was a nice big size with a King bed in the modern wing. And a nice, varied food & drink buffet included!

A light and airy lounge, bar and restaurant area.
A light and airy lounge, bar and restaurant area. Used for business lunches during weekdays. More children on the weekends due to the proximity to Harry Potter Studios, but they are out all day.
The food menu is diverse enough if you are planning on eating there over a few days, and the food is good.
The staff are welcoming and pleasant, especially at breakfast.
The room was clean and quiet.
I would definitely return there happily.

The staff are so helpful.
The staff are so helpful. It’s easy to get to - perfect for Harry Potter world. There seemed to be a few other attractions near by too.
The pool and gym were a little shabby but the kids loved it and it was a great way to tire them out.
The breakfast was great and at the other end of the day the bar was comfy, inviting and well stocked.

I thought this place was perfect for us. We met our grandchildren there and they loved the pool.
The evening menu was great for adults, unfortunately the children didn’t like anything but that’s not saying it was good. Picky eaters!

The accommodation was a very high standard and the host were very helpful. We needed to check in early to attend a family function and the hosts were more than willing for us to do so.Everthing was made easy for us and although the host was available to us we were given privacy .The only problem we encountered was the m25 which had lane closures but we soon overcame that

The staff were lovely. Really helpful.
The staff were lovely. Really helpful. Put surprise birthday card and sweets in the room foe my son, which he loved. The room was tiny. Just enough space to walk between the double bed and the sofa bed. Bothe mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic and not much choice. We got there at around 9 and some stuff had run out and without asking wouldn't of been refilled.

Loved the old world feeling of the hotel and the gardens , etc were fab. We didn’t have breakfast as it starts at 7 & we had to be-on the road before 6:30. We had nice bar food the night before and a couple of drinks, all very good. For an older Manor house it was nice and cosy. Our room was spacious & spotless and in the main house, which I preferred.
My husband was happy with the private parking so near the Manor, one of the reasons we didn’t book a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge.
Ideally located for trip to central london or Warner bros studio. Plenty of parking. Comfortable clean and cost efficient stay. Lovely weekend with family - we were a party of 6 , 3 kids and 1 elderly granny. We took taxi to central london and Studio was 10-15 minutes drive from hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Same for the adjacent pub with scenic view- very friendly helpful staff.
A traditional English pub. Good location on a cobbled street in the old part of Hemel Hempstead. Cosy and compact. Room benefitted from air conditioning - ideal for this time of year. Quiet at night. Nice breakfast. Good coffee (can be hard to find in English hotels). I had an excellent mushroom and cheese omelette.
I like the thought they put into equipping and decorating the place. It gave a homely feel, was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy for me. Even though it is located right in the centre of Hemel Hempstead I had a very good sleep. Much better sleep than in any hotel really. So all was really good..
Beautiful, freshly renovated space. The host was kind enough to let us check in quite late and set up the sofa bed ahead of time. The sofa bed also had a cushioned extra topper which was nice. Very comfortable flat, quite a good deal compared to other rentals and hotels in the area.
Excellent area next to canal side and great pub, The papermill. Lovely staff at hotel and pub, The hotel bar opens till late which we enjoyed. Would definitely stay again. Ideal stay for Warner Brothers Harry Potter tour.
It had a lovely little private patio area & so chic .absolutely spotless..love the little extras ie .. beer, fresh orange juice milk .
Best one I've stayed at .
Close to a lovely park & walks along the river is a bonus.
We went to a festival nearby and we were really pleased with the hotel. Great value for money and so much better than a travel lodge or premier inn. Nice comfy rooms, great facilities with the bar and restaurant too.
Beautiful building, room was comfortable with everything you need., I slept very well and didn't hear a sound all night,
The breakfast was very nice aswell
I highly recommend this hotel 👌
Very clean throughout the whole hotel, plenty of space to eat, the bar area was lovely. The pool was really nice. The staff were really helpful and the food was really nice.
Met by Martin who was very helpful, allowing us an early check in. Lovely, clean, well furnished apartment ideally located for Hemel Hempstead town centre and Station.
The property was very clean and airy. The balcony was a nice touch. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the area and the apartment was very comfortable.
Treated very well and hosts where superb. we will using this hotel again as we have future work in the area and it has proven to be excellent value for money.
The rooms were a nice size. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The area was quiet and nice. Everything was well stocked with clean dishes and towels.
